Carol Shallin

Carol was an actress/dancer in Reno, Hollywood and Vegas. She has worked both sides of the camera and is a member of SAG, AGVA and NABET.

Carol was a “Mapes Skylite” (chorus girl) in Reno XXX years ago and then toured with her own dance act. She performed as an actress and dancer in Little Theater in both San Francisco, her hometown, and Hollywood. Carol has worked both sides of the camera (acting in several horror films where she was a real scream) and is a member of SAG, AGVA and NABET.

Since retiring and moving to Laguna Woods from Las Vegas 2 1/2 years ago, Carol has been active in various local shows including, “Brush Up Your Shakespeare,” “Celebrating the Romantics (Poets),” as Cher in “Aquarius to Woodstock,” Sybil, a con artist, in “Senior Follies,” Mavis in “The Whistler- Mavis Cameron Disappears” in Radio Show Theater, as Marilyn in “Gumshoe Revue,” Penelope, an American actress married to an English vicar, in “See How They Run,” Aunt Sissy in “A Tree Grows in Brooklyn” and as Puck in “Lovers in Midsummer.”Carol performs on an average of 2 shows a month around Orange County senior centers with the Happy Hoofers, a tap group, and she also performs solo dance routines with “Sizzling Seniors.”
